Conics are a five piece dance rock band from Sydney. Forming in early 2011 Conics had immediate success through their first single ‘Illuminate’ and ‘Habitats’, with both tracks receiving national airplay through Triple J and immense support through community and online radio.
The band quickly developed a reputation for an explosive live show which lead to supporting the likes of Gold Fields, Rufus, Millions, Mitzi, Elizabeth Rose, Glass Towers, Oscar & Martin, Flume & Faker.
Conics have been in lock down for the past six months writing & recording and are set to release the first single off their debut EP in May. This will be launched through a three week residency at Oxford Art Factory and followed up by a national tour this winter.

CREO are a four-piece alternative band from Sydney. All meeting in highschool, they try to show an even amount of respect for dream like melody as well as endless amounts of fuzz-fueled noise. Their sound could be likened to rides at an amusement park, a mix of highs and lows; suspense and full throttle force, with just the right amount of party in between. Truly a well-oiled machine, Creo’s live show is super tight, even in moments of mayhem. Creo have recorded their debut EP ‘The Memo’ with ARIA award winning producer Jimi Maroudas. The record is an exciting taste of what’s come.

The Sydney four-piece create instantly relatable indie pop rock tunes that fill your heart with equal parts joy, hope and elation. Siren Lines are about to embark on their inaugural mission into live music venues down the East Coast of Australia in support of their brand new EP.
The EP was produced by Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels) and mastered in New York at West Side music by Alan Douches (Ben Folds, Brand New, Mastadon). The EP will be out 31/5/2013 & to celebrate the boys will be playing Oxford Art Factory June 15th.

Freya Berkhout, formerly one half of Sydney experimental pop outfit kyü, has embarked on a new project with her brother, Elias. The sibling duo, collectively known as Gnome, create their music utilising a fusion of their interest in classical and world musics as well as a passion for electronic, glitchy sonics. They have been described as a blend of Sufjan Stevens, The Knife and Brian Eno. Both are multi-instrumentalists, as well as accomplished vocalists, creating unique, inventive yet accessible pop. BROKEN ROYALE
Indie electro rock duo Broken Royale formed from a chance encounter with Lance Robinson and Germaine Jones after which the pair spent beavering away in their cramped garage studio to produce an idiosyncratic mix of electronic beats and dirty, guitar-centric rock.
The new single ‘SIN CITY’ is a high energy sub synth rock track with indi punk undertones featuring Adam Weston (Sons of Rico, BOT) on drums. Co-Produced by Lance Robinson and Matt O’Connor (Magic Dirt, Cog, Shihad, Sparkadia) the track was recorded at Airlock Studio’s (QLD) and Club Garage studios (WA), Mixed by Melbourne producer Darren Harts and mastered by Don Bartley at Studio 301.
After recently landing the support for UK act The Kooks, Broken Royale take their explosive live show to Sydney May 23-26.

VANGATE
Vangate have just released their brand new single ‘The Cliffs’. This single brings an emotive indie sound, driven by landscapes of melody and harmonies. EM GEORGE
Em George is a singer-songwriter from Sydney. Singing since an early age, Em began to be interested in songwriting after discovering the sounds of Carole King, Etta James, The Beatles and Leonard Cohen. Teaching herself the guitar, Em began to play around with melodies and sounds, combining her love of poetry and writing with music. Influenced by writers such as Truman Capote, Arthur Miller, Allen Ginsberg and Emily Bronte, Em began to play with words and music. Writing about personal experience or about the absurdities and observances of life, Em’s songs display an introspective quality that is unique to her as an artist.

Nick Van Breda has been a mainstay on the Australian music scene for the last decade both as a drummer and frontman for bands such as Staying At Home, Animal Shapes and Lights Out.
